Energy Upgrade - 3 Reasons Your Energy Crashes Every Day
If your energy feels like a rollercoaster throughout the day, there are usually a few root causes behind it.
I know the Internet can convince you that you have 27 different problems, but most of the time, it comes back to three main areas: blood sugar, minerals, and your circadian rhythm.
First, blood sugar.
If your meals are all over the place—skipping meals, not eating enough protein, grabbing quick carbs—your energy is going to follow that same pattern.
Up, down, crash, repeat.
That mid-afternoon slump a lot of people feel? A lot of times that’s just your body trying to recover from how it was fueled earlier in the day!
The key to blood sugar balance is fueling intentionally with 30-40 grams of real food protein at every meal - especially breakfast. Women in particular usually need to anchor their day with a high protein breakfast, ideally within the first hour of waking! The Balance & Burn GLP-1 Support system can also be KEY here, supporting this process when it’s paired with plenty of protein and nourishment.
Second, minerals.
This one gets overlooked all the time.
Your body needs minerals (like sodium, potassium, magnesium) to actually produce and maintain energy at a cellular level. Minerals are the spark-plugs for your entire body.
If you’re under-hydrated or low on minerals, you can feel tired, foggy, or just kind of off… even if everything else looks “healthy” on paper. Common things like coffee and stress actually deplete your minerals faster than normal, so you have to make sure you are intentional about replenishing them! I love to use Mineral Essence daily in a glass of water & NingXia Red, and take a packet of Inner Boost & Balance daily to get all my trace minerals in! We use a squirt of Vitality Drops or just a pinch of sea salt + Lemon Vitality oil in water for electrolytes!
And then there’s your circadian rhythm.
This is your body’s internal clock, and it affects way more than just what time you go to sleep.
When your light exposure is off—like not getting outside in the morning, being under artificial light all day, or staring at your TV or phone screen until late at night—your body doesn’t get clear signals for when to be alert and when to wind down.
So you end up tired in the morning… and wired at night.
Most people try to fix their energy with caffeine or willpower. But if these three things are off, you’re always going to feel like you’re playing catch-up.
The good news is, these are all things you can actually shift with small, consistent changes!
We’ll keep building on this, but start paying attention to those three areas—because they drive way more than people realize.
Which one do you feel like might be the biggest factor for you right now?
